Background
Kay Russo is a 2010 graduate of Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she served as a private dairy practitioner for several years before joining Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica. At Boehringer she operated in a field role as a Technical Service Veterinarian and as the Technical Marketing Manager for the cattle team. Kay joined Purina Animal Nutrition in 2017 as a member of the feed additive research team, facilitating product research and development directed at improving the health of both cattle and commercial poultry species. A portion of her time is devoted to also supporting field personnel in troubleshooting health issues on farm. She is nearing completion of her Master of Health and Avian Medicine degree at the University of Georgia and resides in Fort Collins, CO with her husband and two children.
