Background
Gina Fresquez is a Sr. Technical Specialist, Equine Technical Solutions with Purina Animal Nutrition. Her responsibilities include evaluating and developing sales tools for horse marketing and technical team, helping sales with ration evaluations for larger prospects, as well as providing technical support to sales, dealers and veterinarians to support field sales for the Pacific Northwest markets. Gina earned her BS in Animal Science and Master’s Degree in Equine Nutrition from the University of Arizona and has worked for Purina since 2006. Her graduate research focused on the effects silicon had on bone development and growth rate parameters in young growing horses. Gina is a lifelong horse enthusiast, riding since the age of 9, competing in endurance, hunter, reining and dressage, as well as competed with and coached the U of A IHSA equestrian team.
