Best Results
Feed Purina® Layena® Pellets or Crumbles to laying hens as at least 90 percent of the diet. Most flocks should not need to supplement with oyster shell; however, it is good practice to place a dish of oyster shell out during hot weather. Hens will eat the oyster shell if needed.
During molt, switch to Purina® Flock Raiser® Feed for added protein needed for feather regrowth. When hens start laying again, transition back to Purina® Layena® Feed.
