Background

Team roping heeler, Travis Graves, has familiarized himself with success since he won the International Finals Youth Rodeo heeling title in 2001. Travis went professional in 2003. Since, he has won multiple rodeos across the country, made eight trips to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, and in 2010, broke the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association regular-season earnings record for heelers.

Some of Travis' career highlights include:  

  • 2016: (Partner Colby Lovell) Placed in two rounds and finished 12th at Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, won 4 rodeos, co-champion at three. Finished 14th in the world.
  • 2015: (Partner Chad Masters) Placed in three rounds at WNFR, won three rodeos, co-champion at two rodeos, finished 10th in world standings with $143,496
  • 2014: (Partner Trevor Brazile) Won Round 8 of WNFR, placed in four other rounds, and finished fifth in the average. Won three other national rodeos, co-champion at four. Finished second in the world standings with $176,183.
  • 2013: (Partner Kaleb Driggers) Won round 9 of the WNFR with rodeo-best time of 3.6 seconds and placed in three other rounds. Finished third in world standings with $162,351. Won eight rodeos across the nations, co-champions at three rodeos.
  • 2012: (Partner Clay Tryan) Won round 7 of the WNFR  and placed in four other rounds. Finished 8th in world standings $137,287.
  • 2011: (Partner Clay Tryan) Finished in world standings at second place after winning four rounds at the WNFR, and seven national rodeos. Year's winnings added up to $189,649.
  • 2010: (Partner Clay Tryan) Finished second in world with $185,784 after breaking PRCA regular season earnings record.
