Nick received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a research emphasis on physiology and immunology. After completing post-doctoral training in gut health and nutritional immunology, Nick worked for six years at the Virginia Tech, College of Veterinary Medicine as a research scientist, where he developed a successful research program creating new methods for evaluating the effectiveness of feed additive products for the poultry industry. In July 2016, Nick joined Purina where he is responsible for feed additive R&D and technical support for the Purina Animal Nutrition poultry team.
