Caleb Smidt

Background

This South Texas cowboy joined the PRCA in 2012. Since, he has won two world titles, qualified for the National Finals six times and earned in $1.1 million through the PRCA. Caleb sixth WNFR qualification will have him in Vegas this December. He is leading in calf roping and currently ranks third in the All Around. Caleb has been successful since his high school rodeo days when he won the Texas High School Rodeo Finals in 2008 and was reserve champion that year in the National High School Finals. While attending junior college at Wharton County (Texas), he was the all-around champion and tie down reserve champion at the College National Finals Rodeo in 2010. He then went to Sam Houston State University where he earned his degree in Agricultural Business and finished in 2012. Caleb feeds his horse, “Pockets,” Purina^® Strategy^® Healthy Edge^®.
