We created the Test R.I.D.E. for this very reason. It’s a supplement and feed evaluation process that will help you determine which nutritional solutions are best for your horse.
When looking at a product, evaluate four key areas: Research, Ingredients, Delivered Amount and Efficacy. It’s our process for every Purina product we take to market.

A Facility Like No Other
To develop the world’s leading equine nutrition solutions, you need a world class nutrition center. Our farm is located in Gray Summit, MO, sprawling over 1200 acres. We work with over 80 horses to collect over a million data points a day.
At our working equine facility at the Purina Animal Nutrition Center, we have a dedicated Exercise Physiology Unit, Palatability Unit and Microbiome facility, all supported by our multi-species Emerging Technologies Lab and Research Feed Manufacturing Unit. Each of these are key to ongoing product development, performance, and quality control.
