Purina® High Octane® Heavy Weight® Show Supplement

Heavy Weight® is a very high energy supplement that can be used in all species to provide quick bloom, soften muscle, and promote healthy skin and hair.

It’s 70% fat formula comes in a powder form that can be fed as-is or mixed with water and drenched or poured over feed. A first-choice fat product for hog feeders but can also be used to effectively administer fat by drenching to sheep, goats, and cattle.

      Description

      High Octane® Heavy Weight® supplement is designed to be fed as a supplement to the base feeding program. Mix High Octane® Heavy Weight® supplement into daily feed at the rates below to provide supplemental energy, essential amino acids, to help aid in palatability, and to provide medium-chain triglycerides for skin and hair quality.
       

      Best Results

      Recommended Daily Feeding Amount

      Show Cattle 2-12 oz/day
      Cattle can be more sensitive to dietary changes, especially energy. Start slow at 2 oz per day and mix thoroughly along with Honor®Show cattle feed of choice. Initially, cattle may be slow to consume Heavy Weight®supplement, but should be acclimated by day 4 to 5. Increase Heavy Weight®supplement slowly by 1 to 2 oz per day every 4 to 5 days until the desired feeding level has been achieved.  
      Show Pigs 2-16 oz/day
      Begin feeding at 2 oz per day along with Honor®Show pig feed of choice. Increase slowly at 2 oz per day every other day until the desired feeding level has been achieved.  
      Show Lambs & Goats 2-8 oz/day
      Begin feeding at 2 oz per day along with Honor®Show feed of choice. To help prevent digestive disturbances, increase slowly by 1 to 2 oz per day every 3 to 4 days until the desired feeding level has been achieved.  

      Caution

      Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss or death.

      This product was made in a feed manufacturing facility that does not handle or store products containing animal proteins prohibited in ruminant feed.
