Strategies for Feeding Modern Show Lambs

Unlock the full genetic potential of modern show lambs with the following feeding strategies. ​
  1. Deworm lambs about every 30-45 days throughout the feeding period.
  2. Feed lambs ¼ lb (double handful) of loose good quality alfalfa per day.
  3. Always allow access to clean fresh water at all times.
  4. When feeding Honor® Show Chow® Show lamb feeds, there is no need to supplement with additional mineral.
  5. Feed High Octane® Depth Charge™ Topdress at 2 to 4 oz per day to keep lambs full when limit feeding. Feed High Octane® Heavy Weight™ Supplement at 2 oz to help improve feed intake, and 4 to 8 oz per day to help improve fat cover and/or growth rate.
