      Description

        WEIGHT OF HORSE IN POUNDS
      Lifestyle 800 1,000 1,200 1,400
      Minimum Hay or Equivalent Pasture* (lbs/day) 9.50 12.00 14.50 17.00

      Ultium® Senior® Horse Feed (lbs/day)*
      Maintenance 2.75 3.25 4.00 4.50
      Light Work  4.00 5.00 6.00 7.00
      Moderate Work 5.50 6.75 8.00 9.50
      Heavy Work 7.00 8.50 10.25 11.00***

      * This is the recommended minimum amount of hay to be fed. If feeding more hay, you may reduce the feeding rate of Ultium® Senior Horse Formula to maintain appropriate body condition.

** To meet nutrient requirements, do not feed less than 0.3 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight per day for mature horses at maintenance (3 lbs per 1,000-lb horse). If your horse gains too much weight at that minimum feeding rate, transition to a ration balancing feed like Purina® Enrich Plus® ration balancer.

*** Feeding rates of Ultium® Senior Horse Formula and forage may be adjusted or feed may be top-dressed with Purina® Amplify® High-Fat Supplement for additional calories. Hard-working horses may also benefit from supplementation with Purina® SuperSport® Amino Acid Supplement.

A 4 lb meal of Ultium® Senior supplies a full serving of Outlast® gastric support technology.
