3 STEPS TO MAXIMIZE THE PROFIT POTENTIAL OF YOUR CALVES
Participation in Purina® Plus takes three easy management steps
Requirements to join the program
Feed Purina® starters with RX3® Immune Support Technology
for 21 days post-weaning, then transition to a nutritionist-recommended diet for a minimum of 45 days prior to sale. Work with your local Purina® dealer to determine the best weaning nutrition to meet your performance goals.
Vaccinate and boost with*:
- 2 doses of Clostridium chauvoei, septicum, novyi, sordellii, perfringens (Types C & D)
- 2 doses of IBR, PI3, BRSV, and BVD Type 1 and 2
-Both must be administered as a modified live vaccine
- 1 dose of Mannheimia haemolytica/Pasteurella multocida
-May be administered with a combination viral or clostridial vaccination
Deworm for internal and external parasites
Oral or Injectable internal parasite control
Topical external parasite control
