Background
Reza Poureslami, nickname Ray, is a poultry technical nutritionist consultant at Purina Animal Nutrition, a subsidiary of Land O’Lakes. He provides feed formulation and nutrition expertise to poultry producers across the country. Reza completed his Post-Doctoral training at the University of Georgia in 2011. Prior to joining Purina in 2019, Reza served as a nutritionist for ADM Animal Nutrition providing nutritionist service and feed formulation for multi-species poultry in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Reza has written and co-authored a few scientific papers and a couple of books. Reza has done extensive research in ABF production, amino acid and fatty acid nutrition, enzymes, AGP replacers. He has also served on the AFIA Board of Directors, Poultry Science journal editorial board, as well as other scientific journals.
