Identify Product Type:

Look for the vertical watermark on the feed tag (ie: "PELLET")

Find Julian Date Code:

On the white tear strip/seam (NOT back of bag) - ONLY look at first 5 digits (ex: 24025QSF10)

Instructions for identifying multiple bags at one time:

1. Select the type of feed from the “Product Type” drop-down box

2. Enter the current date into the “Today’s Date” box

3. Click “Calculate” and mark down all bags that match the same feed type and fall within the Julian number range displayed, discard all bags with codes lower than the “discard Bags” value

Instructions for checking one specific bag of feed:

1. Select the type of feed from the “Product Type” drop-down box

2. Enter Julian number into the "Julian Date Code" box (ONLY first 5 digits - ex: 24025QSF10)

3. Click "Calculate" and follow instructions for when to mark down/throw out the bag of feed
